Hong Kong August 9, 2000 - PSINet Hong Kong Limited, the Internet Super Carrier, announced that it will hold an Internet security symposium at Room 603 ˉ 607, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Old Wing) on August 22, 2000 (Tuesday).

With massive use of the Internet in today ’ s businesses, security threats ranging from virus infections, hackers attacks to stolen of credit card details have been popping out almost every minute on the Internet. These striking threats may lead to a loss of customers and investors ’ confidence, damage to the company ’ s brand or reputation and direct financial losses.
