2003 – CPCNet, a CITIC Pacific company (SEHK:
267), today announced that it has awarded BT Global
Services with a contract to provide a multi-protocol
label switching (MPLS) solution for voice and data transmission
to meet CPCNet customers’ European requirements. CPCNet
is a leading telecom and Internet service provider in
the Greater China region.

CPCNet has its own branded MPLS offering, TrueCONNECT,
in Asia Pacific. BT will serve as their global telco
partner to provide European connectivity for CPCNet
customers, supplying a customised solution for the delivery
and management of MPLS connectivity in Europe.
